Marco Adda
Marco Adda is an Independent Researcher in Anthrozoology and Drama.
Body worker, educator, theater director and actor trainer, with an extensive background in performance, team building, human development, and mindfulness practices. Accredited Trainer by the European Commission (SALTO Program) for Sport, Education and Social Inclusion. Founder and member of groups in Europe and Asia, he continually deepens researches about body, movement, voice and self-expression, particularly as they support discovery, transformation and healing.
Marco has been strongly influenced by Asian traditions and cultures. He has a keen interest in martial arts principle and practices, human animality, healing techniques and training metaphors. While focusing on psychology and behaviour in both human and non-human animals, Marco always considers a strong connection with nature, environment, social inclusion, and human and animal rights. He integrates neurosciences, psycho-physiology and visual arts in all of his work, whether as a theatre director, trainer, drama instructor, non-formal educator, human-animal facilitator, team builder, art therapist or Reiki therapist.
Globetrotter, he travels the world working, teaching and researching. Further reflective of an international presence, he has been collaborating with universities in Rome, Paris, Novisad, Budapest, Kuala Lumpur and others. Due to this broad spectrum of interests, he is actively engaged in a wide range of professional contexts.
